Suiko Takahara (Taka)

Suiko Takahara/Takahara Suiko started off as a bedroom singer-songwriter, who won the inaugural The Wknd Recording Fund in 2013.

Her work with The Venopian Solitude has brought attention from numerous creative fields, leading to her publishing a lyrical compilation of over 100 lyrics in her first book Diari Nona Gila, writing scripts and lyrics for various artistes and production houses, namely Adira, Aizat, Red Comm and Astro Oasis, to name a few.

She was consecutively invited to Read My World Literary Festival 2015 in Amsterdam, Holland, and was one of the ten selected from around the world to join the inaugural Pop Kultur Nachwuchs 2015 in Berlin, Germany. She was also among the 70 chosen out of 3,500 applicants around the globe, and the first Malaysian to join the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy 2016 in Montreal, Canada throughout its 18-year run since 1998.

Ahmad Khair (Kemat)

Ahmad 'Kemat' Khair started out in 2008 as a guitar technician and crew for the band Butterfingers and was also an Assistant Stage Manager for their showcase at Istana Budaya (2009). Subsequently, he has worked with a few renown local bands such as One Buck Short, Seven Collar T-Shirt, Aizat Amdan, to name a few, as well as involved in big-scale musical productions such as Puteri Gunung Ledang(2015) and P Ramlee the Musical Tour(2015).

He was also involved in handling Go Gerila!'s weekly performances for TV9's Versus Season 1, in which they received 1st runner up of the show. He became the band's sessionist as a sequencer throughout their 2012-2014 run as a band.

He then embarked on doing music productions for various projects, one of which was the album Hikayat Perawan Majnun by The Venopian Solitude, which was nominated in three categories in AIM 2014, and composed as well as produced the critically acclaimed song Janji, which recently won Best Hip Hop Song, and was subsequently nominated for Song Of The Year in AIM2016.

Ruviyamin (Ruvi)

Ruviyamin started his interest in drums since the age of 10, and joined the drum section of the Victoria Institution Cadet Corps Band (VICCB) in his teens. Through his involvement with VICCB, he has travelled to Italy and Holland and the team won Gold Medal for the Show Category on both occasions.

He then decided to pursue a diploma in Western and Latin Percussions in Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Composition.

Throughout the years he has worked with various local artistes and bands, performing in China, Japan, Korea and Australia to name a few, and is now a full time drummer and percussionist for Aizat Amdan, Liyana Fizi, Amir Jahari, and The Impatient Sisters.

He is also a drummer for his own band Go Gerila! which was formed during TV9 Versus Season 1, and founded as well as actively performing with his contemporary percussion group, No Noise Percussion. He has also worked on various projects and albums as a composer, arranger, and producer.

Ariana (Ariana)

Ariana has been the guitarist of the famed independent band Couple since 2006. During their rise to fame, their music video “Now That I Can See” has received airplays on various MTV Asia TV shows such as Pop Inc., MTV Rock It and MTV Jus, and their songs were heavily played on local mainstream radios. Within the same year, she performed with the band at the biggest festival in Bangkok, Thailand called Fat Festival 6, as well as performed at the seventh installment of the annual local festival Rock The World 7

She was also involved in the UK tour of the band in 2010, where they played six shows in London, Manchester and Liverpool, some of which are at established venues and nights such as the Manchester Academy 2, Dirty Water Club and The Windmill.

Over the years she has performed with Couple at numerous shows and festivals, one of them as the opening act for the Swedish indie pop artists Club 8 and Pelle Carlberg at the KL Performing Arts Center(2008), and in 2009 alone played at the Mosaic Music Festival 2009 in Singapore, Rockaway, as well as the KL Tower Indie Fest and several installments of Rock The World(2009, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016).

Apart from playing with Couple, she has also sessioned for Fazura, namely in the showcase for Facing Up To Fazura, at Hard Rock Cafe Melaka in 2015. She has also accompanied Fazura during her performance F1 After Race Concert, sharing the stage with other artistes, including international R&B artiste Usher.

Adam Shahrir (Adam)

Adam's ability of playing multitudinous genre stems from his academic background, having graduated from UiTM with a Diploma in Music and a Degree in Music Performance With the academic achievements under his belt, he joined the Kuala Lumpur City Hall Orchestra in 2011, and has been an active member since.

He has showed his prowess as a pianist and a keyboardist, both during live performances and in recording with various artistes and bands over the years; ska band 40 Winks, experimental band Monoloque, singer songriter Diandra Arjunaidi, international pop artiste Yuna, traditional instrumentalists Mohram, hip-hop reggae band SalamMusik and pop duo Hani & Zue

During his work with said artistes over the years, he collectively received a few accolades, two of which during Yuna's Terukir Di Bintang at Anugerah Juara Lagu 27(2012), and won Album of the Year at AIM 19(2012) with SalamMusik.

He has also backed Mohram for their second album launch in 2012, and played under the acclaimed composer and conductor Dato' Ramli M.S. for the opening of the concert Gegar Vaganza 2 in 2016.

He founded Banglo9 Productions Sdn. Bhd, and established Banglo9 studio, which housed various rehearsals of numerous national TV productions as well as music productions.

Mohd Shafiq (Shafiq)

Shafiq, despite playing percussions for a number of music projects, was actually trained in brass and woodwind instruments, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Music, majoring in Composition. 

His competence in performing a multitude of genres was developed over the years of performing with house bands and wedding bands, as well as perfoming for Monoloque as their percussionist and synth player, and sessioned for the national pop singer Elizabeth Tan. He is also an active member of the renowned contemporary percussion group, No Noise Percussion since 2008.

Apart from live performances, he has extensive experience in arranging a number of musical pieces, namely Konsert Dir, Tribute To Sudirman for Koir Kebangsaan, Power Of Love for one of the finalist of Ceria Popstar, and Dreamgirls the Musical for Asia Pasific Smart School.

He was also involved in the SEA Games 2014 closing ceremony song titled Lagenda, as well as the original sountrack for the film Mat Moto by Pekin Ibrahim, both as an assistant music composer.

Azmeer Izhwan (Pie)

Azmeer 'Pie' Izhwan was exposed to working with local bands during his first stint as part of the technical crew for the famed band Hujan and singer/songwriter Aizat, back in 2010.

He was also extensively involved as a Stage Technical Engineer in Aizat's Borneo Tour(2011), Go Gerila!'s, Amir Jahari's, Aizat's and The Venopian Solitude's performances at Kansai Music Conference Japan, as well as working for Hujan for their 10-year anniversary concert Hujan 10 Tahun(2015), and accompanied Noh Salleh and the Restoe Iboe Band to their Singapore showcase(2016). He has also worked as an Assistant Front Of House Engineer for the critically-acclaimed Puteri Gunung Ledang Concert(2015) and Konsert Cinta at Istana Budaya(2016),

Within a year of working at Banglo9 Productions, he has learned the ropes of live and studio sound engineering apart from working as a studio operator.

Throughout his involvement with various productions, he was also involved as a recording engineer for Go Gerila!'s debut album Blackbox, Amir Jahari's album Penghibur Jalanan, and the album Hikayat Perawan Majnun, all of which have earned a number of nominations in AIM throughout the years.

Mohd Najib (Bijan)

Najib's involvement with various bands during the rise of underground music in mid- to late 2000s has earned him the repertoire of the go-to sound engineer to this day. His earlier experiences involved working with the renowned Ken Freeman(Fourplay & TOTO’s engineer) for Puteri Gunung Ledang The Musical Season 3(2009) as well as worked closely under the critically-acclaimed producer Roslan Aziz(Sheila Majid & Zainal Abidin’s producer) for various projects, subsequently working for international jazz artistes and musicians such as Bob James, Kendraka, Barnicle Bill Trio, Eric Vloeimans, Chika Asamoto, and many more.

He has worked as a Music Producer, Sound Engineer, Event Organizer and Technical Director for Greenhouse Studio, Laguna Music and BSYNC Productions. Apart from working as a Stage Technical Engineer and Monitor Engineer for Future Music Festival Asia 2012 – which involved assisting International acts such as Portbelleez, Pendulum, Flo Rida, Cosmic Gate and The Chemical Brothers – he has also worked at KRU Studios as Post-production Sound Engineer, followed by working as a Sound Engineer and Event Organiser at No Black Tie

Some of his notable achievements are working as an Assistant Composer for the award-winning film KIL, and involvement in Siti Nurhaliza's multi-award winning Lentera Timur(AIM 16 – Best Pop Album & Best Pop Ethnic Album).

He was heavily involved in the nationwide tour of P. Ramlee The Musical as a Monitor Engineer, and recently founded the music venue called ATAS by Bijan Fx in Kelana Jaya, Selangor.

Farhan Syaza (Han)

Farhan started out shooting photos at events, weddings and travelogues. He then was given the opportunity to work as a videographer for Hellbent Skateboarding (Principle Footwear) in 2014, and was also the personal videographer for a local professional skateboarder, Gjoy Azizul. 

Graduating with Diploma in Multimedia Design at SAITO College, he then proceeded to work at Luey Motion Lab as a cinematographer, having a hand in various production work from planning, shooting, to post-production. During his stint with Luey Motion Lab, he directed a music video for a renown local rapper, Juzzthin, for his song Day One.

In late 2016, he then proceeded to become a freelance videographer, shooting videos for travelogues, tv commercials, corporate video, music video and other event highlights, and has worked with various clients and brands, including Tourism Malaysia, Shell, Panasonic, Maybank, Nike Malaysia, Yakult, Anmum and Strongbow
